A single over the shoulder bass drone option is suited to playing with other instruments. Yet also has a depth suitable for solo performance.

The chanter is tuned to a six hole on the front G with a leading F /F# two thumb holes and a range of an octave an one fifth. The tenor and bass drones are tuned one and two octaves below the chanter key note.

The drone is wide bored to give a full rich tone for louder music.

The chanter reed uses plastic blades on a brass staple , the drone reeds are a plastic blade and either a brass or plastic barrel. The blow valve is  non return plastic.
